Lego

I love Lego. I'm not a collector, though. The sets take up space, I don't have a basement waiting for them, and my wife would rather the money went into savings for our daughters' university. Fair enough. So I build a few, slowly, and keep the ones I like.

Titanic

The complete Lego Titanic in a lit wooden wall niche, black and red hull, four yellow funnels and rigging between the masts

Built in sections over February and March 2022. All four funnels, now in a lit niche of its own.

Death Star trench run

The Lego Star Wars Death Star trench run diorama, an X-wing flying down a grey trench chased by three TIE fighters

Finished on the last day of 2024. An X-wing, three TIE fighters and a lot of grey.

Concorde

The white Lego Concorde on its display stand, nose up, with an orange and black Lego McLaren Formula 1 car parked underneath

The Concorde on its stand, with a Speed Champions McLaren parked underneath. Built in 2026.

White House

The Lego Architecture White House on an outdoor table, white columns, black roofs and green lawns with pink blossom trees

From the Architecture line. Columns, lawns and a few pink trees, small enough for the garden table.

Coming soon: the Pharrell set, once it gets a proper photo.
