The OpenClaw agent

« back to Built

What it does

I have an assistant that lives in my chat app. I message it like a person and it gets on with things. On a normal day it:

  • emails me a morning briefing with world and sports news
  • sends the reminders I would otherwise forget, from vitamins to workouts
  • turns booking confirmations from several inboxes into one trip plan per journey
  • watches second-hand markets for the one exact part or collectible I want, and stays silent until it shows up
  • drafts replies for me to check, and never sends anything without a yes
  • keeps notes, so tomorrow it still knows what we decided today

Why I built it

My head was full of small open loops. Each one is trivial, but fifty of them add up to a tired person. Handing them to an agent that keeps lists, checks mail and nags on schedule gave me my evenings back, and those evenings went into the other projects on this site.
